Ok, so before I start can I just state that me and my son adore the warrior clan books and are currently reading #3 Forest of Secrets. We have two domestic cats and things they do ring true with the kittypets. Although this book is amazing and has plenty of detail on individual cats and clans it is definitely NOT a secret in any way. The entire book is full to the brim of SPOILERS for the entire clan history. My son received this as a birthday present this morning. Initially he was beside himself with excitement which is what I had envisaged. This quickly turned to despair and disappointment due to the fact he found three major sink hole size things that had happened to individual cats that we had not yet read about, within the first few pages he looked at. Why is this not given as a WARNING before you buy the book.
The book has now been closed sealed and hidden within our house until such time as we can actually look at it without ruing the storyline. I myself wanted to return it for a refund but my son got upset and just asked me to hide it for some other time. Seriously this is a major mistake by the author / publisher. Kids do actually like to be kept in a state of anticipation when reading or being read to.
As my son is very slightly autistic he is now saying we should not bother with reading the books anymore as the future plot has been ruined. Thanks Harper Collins. BTW the same thing applies to the Manga set. You have been warned

My niece was screaming when she saw this. I have no idea what those Warrior cats are but she as a fan absolutely loved it. Every cat story is described with those awesome pictures. Magic im gold it gave so much joy. 100% must for Warrior Cats fan
