When I started painting some years ago, I found an article by this author [in an art magazine] called ‘Learning How to Learn’.It influenced me greatly. When I saw this book & the companion ‘Watercolour Skills Workbook’ I thought they looked a bit simplistic. How wrong I was! Hard usage shows that they contain the hard core of w/c techniques, composition & motivation taught most professionally. No ‘made easy’;no ‘creativity’ gimmicks. Just compact facts & encouragement magnificently structured. If you despair of expensive glossies which don’t deliver, try this pair.
