A LOVELY rhyming poem about adoption. The illustrations are fun, bright and warm. No doubt adoption is such an amazing deed in Islam yet our communities know very little on the topic . The writer has also included further authentic information regarding adoption in Islam. 100% reccomend.

Allahumma barik, this is a beautiful book about a subject you rarely hear mentioned, adoption in Islam. The gorgeous illustrations help deliver the poem’s touching message. I love the index of terms at the end that explains the Arabic and Islamic terms in child-friendly language.

This beautifully written and illustrated book explains adoption within the Islamic context. Good little read for small and older children and adults too!

This is quite a serious and important topic for a number of communities and explained in the most wonderful of ways – with humour , facts and answers ( for those looking for them). Love the crazy illustrations and references to scousers ( made be chuckle). Behind this book must be extremely noble intentions and sincerely hope it helps the large number of people in the community that it is aimed for ( and beyond) – when is next book out 🙂

What a lovely book mash’Allah! Very accessible and an easy to follow book that wonderfully illustrates this topic. It presents adoption in a positive manner. Presented in the form of a story and giving an adventurous outlook, it’s a must have for any parent that is considering or has taken up adoption; as well as a perfect and a recommendation for all. I read this to my nieces and nephews and they were immersed in the lovely illustrations and had no trouble understanding the authors explanation. Highly recommended.
