Book is kind of as you’d expect… a ‘Where’s Wally?’ style activity but with members of the royal family. Instead of finding just the Queen, each page also features a Prince Phillip, Prince Charles, Camilla, Prince William, Kate, Prince Harry, Megan, a baby and 10 corgis. I thought the cartoon versions of the royal family were really fun yet respectful, they are easily recogniseable. Difficulty wise I’d place it somewhere between easy and medium. Some of the ‘Where’s Wally’ books have absolutely tiny graphics and you have to really squint. This book is not like that but will certainly still take some looking in detail to find everyone. I actually took it into a care home to play with some seniors (some with dementia, some not). It was a great activity because the Queen is such a recognisable figure to everyone. We had great fun but will warn you that you won’t rest until you’ve found everyone on each page!

This is the usual Wally format, but as it’s almost bang up to date on the Firm it may attract Royal-watchers and the younger generation. I say “almost” because the baby is unnamed, as the book was published a few weeks before Archie joined us; however, there’s only so many ways you could portray a babe in arms in a search book, and the baby is in only one picture.

The book starts with a key to all the Royals, each of whom (except the baby is in every picture (plus 10 corgis!). Then there are 14 double-page puzzle pictures. Finally, there are the solutions, but for each picture you have a list of 10 extra things to find, thus doubling the fun (and the value); this part is a bit more testing, as it’s a new set of objects each time.

Children have notoriously sharp eyes, so this book won’t take them too long, but you can always pass it on to other families.

I’m not sure if this is aimed at very young children or if it’s just a really rubbish version of a see what you can find edition.

The book is cashing in on royal baby fever yet it doesn’t refer to the prince’s wives with their official titles such as Duchess of Sussex but rather just as Kate and Meghan.

The book includes copies of the images with circles showing where they are on each scene.

Not nearly as good as it could have been. I’d save your money and buy one if the myriad what can you find books or stick to the classic Where’s Wally

My daughter is a great fan of the royals, so she enjoyed this, ‘regal search and find book,’ which is a little like, ‘Where’s Wally,’ but with members of the royal family – with ten corgis on each page!

There are answers at the back of the book, along with extra things to find each picture, wich are great for older children, as well as giving you something different to search for, rather than the same characters. Scenes include Buckingham Palace, on safari, skiing, in New York, in Australia and at Windsor Castle. A fun book, which my daughter enjoyed.

Used for school topic based around London. Will use for grammar work on prepositions, adverbs and adjectives.

This is like the Where’s Wally books except with the Royal Family instead. There are 14 double page scenes full of detail where you need to look and find the Queen, Prince Charles, Camilla, Prince Harry, Prince William, Meghan, Kate, Prince Phillip, and 10 corgi dogs. Also a royal baby appears somewhere in the book too. All of these are shown at the front and they are distinct enough from the other people in the pictures that it is easy enough to recognise them. Then once you are done the answers are at the back with some more things for you to find.

The scenes include royal places such as Buckingham Palace and Balmoral but also the scenes include places abroad, e.g. New York and Sydney, as the Royal Family go on a world tour (which is believable because they do travel a lot). There are lots of little details in these pictures too which I love. For example there are Red Arrows flying over Buckingham Palace, the Flying Scotsman is driving past Balmoral as the Lock Ness monster makes an appearance also, the Buckingham Palace interior has portraits on the wall of Henry VIII, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth I and so on. There is much in this book. My 4-year-old and 8-year-old have had so much fun looking through this and it is one of those books where they can look at it at the same time.

True the idea isn’t original but the book is still a great book and so much fun.

Fun book to hone visual skills! If your find if the royal family then it’s a good bit of fun. The first page introduces you to the main family members if you need any help recognising them (good for kids to know) and gives a paragraph about each one, then you have several pages with scenes to spot them all hiding, along with corgis on each page.
You have to look for the queen, Charles, will and harry, Megan and Kate and so on, so all the main royals not any distant ones. It’s certoony style, and similar idea to where’s wally but with a fun royal twist. Not too hard to find.
