‘Beautiful and uplifting’ Davina McCall

‘So inspiring, so heartfelt … the way Donna writes is beyond beautiful.’ Lisa Snowdon

‘Some people have the Bible by their bed. Others a self help manual. I have Donna Ashworth’s new poetry collection.’ Susannah Constantine

Wild Hope is Donna Ashworth’s powerful new collection of wisdom to help us find hope, peace, self-acceptance and inspiration on the days we feel worn down, helpless or sad. Written with love and understanding, Donna – who is also the bestselling author of I Wish I Knew – reminds us that amidst our daily struggles and constant outpourings of bad news we have so much to hope for, and that every one of us can play a part, big or small, in making the world a better place.

With poems such as ‘Surrounded by Treasure’, ‘That Thing You Do’, ‘Through the Wringer’ and ‘Rope Ladder’, Donna helps us to remember that most people in this world are good, and that acts of kindness and love within our individual spheres of influence, however small, all contribute to a better future. She also gently guides us, no matter how busy or overburdened we may be, to practice better self-care and self-acceptance.

Hope exists when nothing else can. On the darkest of days Wild Hope will help you find more light.

I couldn’t wait for the release of this book. A good friend introduced me to Donna a while back and I followed her on instagram. I love her voice and her friendly demeanour … like she already knows you and is happy to see you like an old friend. The title ‘Wild hope’ and the beautiful poems and paragraphs inside, do bring hope. She has the ability to get it right no matter what page you open. I like to open pages randomly. Life can be hard at times and those special people around you who help you to hold that hope … this is also a gorgeous book to gift .. and it looks beautiful ! Thank you Donna x

Donna Ashworth is such a wonderful author. Her books speak to your soul, delivering a reassuring message right when you need it most.
I rarely read them cover to cover, I simply let the pages fall open and the passage is always what I need to hear.

This book is a gem. I absolutely adore Donna’s work and this highly anticipated collection did not disappoint. You can read it cover to cover, or whenever your soul requires. I often open the book at a random page (after reading it all cover to cover!) and more often than not the poem feels like a message for me on that day. The ultimate act of serendipity.
Donna’s writing is compassionate, healing and gentle. You’ll feel like she’s right next to you giving you, well, Hope. So many favourite poems but I’ll mention 1 in particular “A handful of years” about how quickly years pass by and, in moments where we are so tired as parents, to remember that it’s only a handful of years before they become adults and they’ll leave the nest. I was in tears and I felt I had a renewed sense of energy in dealing with my daughters. So many more in this book, honestly you don’t want to miss it.
Thank you Donna, for being such a light in this world.

I came very late to Donna’s books, I now have 3 and want to buy all of them!
My latest is Wild Hope. It is absolutely fantastic,
Donna’s words speak to all of us. Beautiful words written from the heart.
Thank You Donna, I have suffered from depression and it’s close friend anxiety for many years. I dread the coming shorter days. However this year Donna has already helped me so much I have her books to keep me company. Poetry that resonates with me and so many others.
I urge you to buy her books. Or put them on your Christmas present list. It will make a season that can be so difficult with all the ridiculous expectations we put on ourselves a little less fearful. Love, Love Love Donna Ashworth!

I say ‘erm’ far too much, I can’t sit still, and I go off on a tangent at least once . . . video summary = if you haven’t yet purchased Wild Hope by Donna Ashworth then I implore you to do so today. I promise you won’t regret it.

Yes, she’s a Sunday Times best-selling author, but, most of all, Donna is a mother, a daughter, a wife, a sister, and a friend. The words in this book are the embodiment of a courageous empath and proof that every lost soul can find their way.

Donna, I love you so much, and I am very, very proud.
