COMING IN SUMMER 2024, THE BRAND NEW HANNAH GRACE MAPLE HILL SERIES NOVEL – PRE-ORDER NOW!

The new novel from the bestselling author of Icebreaker….

When Russ and Aurora cross paths at a university party, a drinking game ends with them spending the night together. The next day, Aurora slips away before Russ learns her full name.

This anonymity ends when they both turn up to their first day of work as camp counsellors. A job they had both chosen to escape Maple Hills for the summer.

Given their history, there’s still an obvious tension between the two but the camp has a strict “no staff fraternizing” rule. Russ doesn’t want to risk heading home early but Aurora has never been one for rules.

As things heat up, they’ll have to resist or risk starting something they just can’t stop.

Icebreaker was perfect but this was a dream.

Sadly Rory and Russ’ backstories resonated with me too well and I fell hard and fast for them.
If in any doubt about this book, please be reassured the journey and storyline of these characters.
The spice is good too ????

I really enjoyed the character development of this book, the storyline was great and I can imagine this being turned into a movie (which I would defo watch!)

If you haven’t already picked up this book then what are you doing? Get purchasing!

Only thing missing was the extra bonus chapter that was only available at Asda ☹️ (but don’t worry, the TikTok girlies got you)

I absolutely loved Icebreaker – one of my top five reads for 2023, so was looking forward to Wildfire, but personally, it was a slight let down. For me, Russ doesn’t seem like he should’ve been the next MC following the first book. We didn’t know enough about him and then we were fed a bunch of information and long standing trauma that was never touched upon. It was hard to feel for characters that we don’t really know yet, I wasn’t as invested in their triumphs or downfalls. My favourite parts of the book were glimpses of the characters from icebreaker, I love the dynamic between the hockey players it makes for a refreshing read – there should’ve been much more of this. Overall, it was an okay and easy read, I wish there was some more depth to the story/characters – like the subplots within Icebreaker – it became very very predictable halfway through the book. Some parts were very over explained (again to do with not knowing the MCs and having to give the reader a way to get to know them quickly) ; However, I am looking forward to see who the next lead character would be in the third book, hopefully it will be more hockey based which is what drew me to the series in the first place.

I loved this one! I ate up icebreaker so I knew I’d also devour wildfire.

Russ is the sweetest guy ever, he has so much going on in his life and deserves the world. I love his friendship with Henry it is the cutest thing ever.

Aurora is a bright light of sunshine who makes everyone around her feel good and loved. She will always put the feelings of others before herself and is just so selfless.

I love them together because they helped eachother heal from their own family traumas. They are the pieces of the puzzle eachother was missing.

Hannah still killing it with the group chats I adored those in icebreaker and they were better in wildfire. The boys group chat always has me howling!

I still absolutely love Henry. I can’t wait for his book next!
