Really nice hand examples.

I have the most acclaimed first book in the Winning Poker Tournaments series and without hesitation bought this on the strength of its predecessor. I wasn’t disappointed. Just as the first volume was, this too is a brilliant book of carefully analysed tournament play by some of the most gifted minds in the business. I would definitely rank this among the 10 best poker books ever written, and is an essential buy if you want to take your game to the next level.
The expected high standard of writing found in the first volume is maintained throughout this volume, which means that the ideal balance of technical thinking and down to earth writing is maintained. Unlike some poker books, this book is definitely & carefully written to capture the widest audience possible. I would surely recommend this book to any poker player who wishes to learn more about the great game, whatever your level is, because you will certainly learn enough new strategy to justify purchasing it.
Also, another nice touch is that the book is written in a totally self contained way, so you definitely don’t need to buy the first volume in the series to appreciate all that is in this volume. But I still recommend that you buy both books, if you haven’t already. This book takes off from where the first one signed off and covers elements of play which were not thoroughly examined in the first volume. So if you need to brush up on post flop play, stealing blinds, final table strategy, heads Up play, 3 Betting, post bubble play, and six max games, then this is your book.
All credit to the writers for once again writing one of the greatest tournament strategy books that money can buy. I very much look forward to the next in the series, and highly recommend that you too buy this one in the meantime. Full marks!
