WordPress – the missing manual – is extremely well written (though you do need to take your time exploring it and learning from it). Matthew MacDonald has put together an exciting book for those involved with WordPress.

Book well written and the reasons for doing (or not doing) something well explained. I have no website building experience other than wrestling with Wix unsuccessfully but this book has enabled me to build a passable website. This book is not cheap and the illustrations are very faded and unreadable which is disappointing as they are integral to the written content

I had bought another book a few weeks earlier, for WordPress beginners, and it was very little help. This book, on the other hand, was perfect for my needs as a complete novice to WordPress. It is very detailed and comprehensive, and offers great guidance on every aspect. I have been using it daily over the last few weeks to get my WordPress site up and running, and have found it invaluable.
