Excellent value at £9.99. I would have expected a higher price for the physical quality and that it comes ready to gift in a box.
For use, all the things one might need to record and plan for laid out on the pages. Create a spreadsheet of income and expenses. Plot savings. Don’t be caught out by forgetting an annual bill.
Some years back (pre-technology), I worked as a Retail Manager and kept a standard diary for the shop – I wish someone had made and marketed this then. Even in the tech age, paper has value and security for one’s financial life. Have some discipline and be better off.

This is just a beautiful journal, from the presentation to the journal itself, it really is a fantastic item.
It comes in a lovely box, and when you open the box the journal is wrapped in black tissue with a thank you card and a circle sticker of the company logo, the pages are of very high quality paper, and the binding is excellent. The feel of the journal is great also, it feels like a very expensive journal but at the fraction of the cost. For the price ( £9.99 ) you really are getting a fantastic journal, great for gifts or yourself.
I can really recommend this Journal.

There are two very similar journals available from this supplier, Wykehams, this one covers Personal Finance and Budgeting (bit like the mortgage interview first time buyers have to undertake) this journal will help you track your finances, start to save for that rainy day and maybe get you out of debt. Whether you want to save for a holiday, for a deposit for a house/car or save for your pension.

It is never too early to start making good financial choices.

I have always kept listing, budgeted, meal planned and only bought things after a good while of thinking whether the purchase will benefit me in my currrent season of life. If you are not great at this you will already be suffering from purchase anxiety, ie I bought that dress, I have never worn it etc, if you don’t set a budget this will continue and spiral … leading to hoarding and financial disaster … well possibly.

Setting budgets, working to save, helping achieve large financial commitments is not something we get taught in school and some of us don’t always have the best examples in our family to follow.

This book could be the start of that, it is excellent quality and I have given you loads of pages to look at that will help get you back on track. Please look at the pics, it will help you decide whether this book could work for you. I think it is a very good tool to achieving personal fiscal/financial responsibilty

They also do a productivity journal so if you are sort of a train crash at organising yourself you might put both on your Christmas List. They might be the start of a new organised and debt free you!

I have a friend and both her children forget to pay their car insurance, even though it is on their phone as a note and then don’t have the funds to pay for it etc, resulting in her having to bail them out. One had her car repossesd! Sadly, there are quite a lot of adult children out their like that … they both could do with both of these journals.

If you want to practise intentional shopping, reduce the amount you spend on fast fashion, home decor etc and really finally get a lid on your personal finance, why not go old school, I actually think having the information done in PAPER FORM, will have far more impact, as it will be a permanent reminder of your progress … phones die, batteries run out and get stolen etc.

Happy to recommend this as a guided financial tracking that could start you on the journey to financially prudent spending and debt clearance.

This budgeting planner is good quality and the binding feels sturdy. I like the simple layout as it doesn’t overwhelm me. The planner contains simple financial goals pages, pages for writing down your monthly bills, and plenty of room for recording your daily spending. The paper is good quality.

Great little budgeting planner, helps to break down month by month the expenditure so you can really see what is going out and coming in. Small enough to tuck away in a handbag to keep track on the go.

This is a good quality financial journal that everyone should own. Most people keep track of their finances digitally but I feel if you write your financial intentions down in a journal you have a much better understanding of how it all works and are more likely to stick to your goals. I have always kept track of the family finances by writing in notebooks, doing a monthly tot-up and also an end of year assessment,
(especially when we were saving to pay off the mortgage) if I’d have come across a journal like this several years ago, it certainly would’ve saved writing in different notebooks and scraps of paper!
The quality of the journal is excellent, the paper is decent and lovely to write on. It is divided into several categories with plenty of pages for each. The size is handy for slipping into a tote bag or rucksack so you can keep track of your finances on the go.
An excellent gift for those who are interested in keeping finances on track in a traditional and interesting way. It comes nicely wrapped and presented in a gift box, lovely, happy to recommend.

Wow! I’m really impressed by this journal. The presentation is superb. It’s packed in a brown card box; open it up and the actual journal is wrapped in tissue paper with a paper inset showing the branding and the Tory behind the logo. I’d happily pay twice the price. At just under a tenner, this is a really elegant stocking filler and would make a welcome gift for almost any occasion.

The paper is reasonable quality, the sections are well laid out and if you want to plan finances or encourage someone to be budget conscious, this is ideal. You can set targets, manage expenditure and income and see whether you’re achieving your goals at a glance. Helpful note section at the back too. Very happy to recommend this.
