I like Mark Laurens training stuff but this book (from the UK perspective) was a little disappointing due to the amount of ingredients I’d never heard of or could get hold of. Maybe it’s a bit more accessible in the USA. That aside I suppose it still serves a purpose in giving you ideas that you can improvise with to make it work for you. If you’re happy with that then go for it, not a bad book.
