Another great read from Andy McNab which I have awarded a four and a half star rating. The story is pacey with plenty of action and credible characters. As usual with McNab, there are undercurrents in the tale and a twist here and there. Perhaps there was a little too much detail put into the production of the IEDs, but apart from that I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Another winner for McNab

Excellence again from McNabb, a rollercoaster of a ride from start to finish with twists and turns and give me food for thought

If you like the other books in this series I recommend getting it. McNab is very good at writing fast paced thrillers that keep the reader interested and does a better job of guiding you through the present geopolitical context of the country it is set in than most journalists. If you’ve read any of McNab’s other books you won’t be disappointed by this newest installment, if you haven’t then I strongly suggest you do.

Undoubtedly Nick Stone’s best mission yet, arguably it is also his most emotive yet too. The action mixed with the covert nature of Stone’s work is back again but with the unusual twist of emotions and a moral ‘car wash’. This side of Nick Stone adds to the intrigue of his character and we find out more about his personal than ever before.

A truly gripping read, a series that Andy McNab keeps making better and better.

A great read but as with all the books you have to pay attention and have a good memory. As with all his books a lot of information and reference to the past required. Nevertheless a gripping fast moving read.
