Eileen and Anton’s story, I didn’t engage with their journey to HEA til about 50% in. Lots of different characters, some evil, some decent and some caring.
I did enjoy the way their story wrapped up with 2 epilogues.

This book is a true page turner, you get invested since page one.
I extremely enjoyed reading this book, it’s captivating, hot, full of drama, action, twists and turns, passion, betrayal and spice.
Eileen is resilient, strong and supportive. Anton is an alpha through and through, he is protective, possessive and powerful.
This book is incredible and you will not be disappointed.

Anton and Eileen’s story was great from start to finish I couldn’t put it down.
So many twists and turns, danger, mystery and love.

When Anton decided to step in and save Eileen, he didn’t expect his actions would cause a ripple effect, that changed the trajectory of his plans. Eileen soon realised Fate was playing a trick on her, when she found out the consequences of her night with Anton just before she discovered who he was and his link to her family.
Just as Anton accepted the situation he found himself in, everything changed when he discovered the secret Eileen had been keeping, which led him to reevaluate the existing plans. Even though Eileen accepted the new changes in her life, she still wasn’t totally happy, but the moment her life was on the line again, she decided to fight to ensure her family was safe. Anton and Eileen soon started working together to deal with the obstacles placed in their path to peace and happiness, which actually brought them closer. Fortunately, Eileen and Anton were able to work together successfully in resolving the problems, so they could get the life they deserved, after finally acknowledging their true feelings for each other.
K.C. Crowne has definitely hit it out of the park again with this story and if I could give more stars, I really would. I was hooked on the story from the first chapter and I couldn’t stop reading until I reached the end. This was one gem of a story and I highly recommend you grab a copy of this book now.

Sister and step sister sometimes get on really well, not in this case, Ciara was somewhat cruel with her words to Eileen mainly about her weight.
There father had arranged for them both to be married as done in mafia families for power, never love.
The two sister had one last night of freedom but got separated, Eileen was rescued by a very attractive man and stayed until morning before going home.
Ciara wedding day to Anton Karpov was a disaster, Eileen was sick and the wedding was stopped before it had begun.
It turns out she’s pregnant with Anton’s baby that is why she was sick, what a mix up.
Sergei Kuznetsovs had plans to ruin Anton by his marriage to Eileen a true Donovan sister but now he’s all out for revenge.
Between Ciara and Eileen there is hate and Sergei will use that to his advantage.
K.C. Crowne has done it again, such a brilliant read.

Omg this book was amazing. I was hooked from the very start. It had everything you could want in a great book. It was full of drama and twists you never saw coming. The characters were really good and well thought out. I loved the relationship between Eileen and Cara, the whole step sisters drama was through the roof. All the male characters played their part with a great outcome. Anton knew what he was doing when he met Eileen and knew there would be consequences, but did it anyway. The fall out for that was interesting. I really enjoyed this book, and I can’t wait for the next installment. Recommend.

Enjoyable story.
There is a discrepancy in the description of a piece of jewelry in the first chapter. Otherwise, this is close to perfect. It’s a good story with good characters with a satisfactory conclusion.
